Siemens Digital Industries Software PreSales Channel Solution Consultant in Mexico City, Mexico
As part of the Channel sales team, support the partners in the technical sales process to facilitate sales of software. Utilizing knowledge of customer business needs, engineering and manufacturing processes, industry best practices and competitive differentiation, support the channel in the preparation and delivery of standard demonstrations of SISW products and solutions in support of channel sales efforts. Support Channel Sales and PreSales staff to deliver and, where appropriate, directly participate in the delivery of effective demonstrations to a range of customers, educating customers on the features, functions and business benefits of SISW products and solutions, highlighting the capabilities and usage of the solution to solve sales and customer problems. Help PreSales staff to prepare to answer simple customer questions and counter basic objections in order to successfully position SISW solutions for the customer against the competition. Works on projects/assignments of diverse scope. Typically works under minimal supervision on assignment/projects.
Essential Functions:
Support Channel PreSales teams to gather high level customer technical requirements, understand existing information technology infrastructure and determine customer needs as part of the sales effort, in conjunction with other members of the PreSales Team.
Advise Channel Partners in the response to customer Requests for Proposals / Requests for Information, as part of selling efforts.
Provide advice and support to answer technical, industry and process questions from partners, and provide technical support for customer issue resolution by the channel partner.
Support Channel Partners in the resolution of product issues including sourcing existing fixes or workarounds, advising on the management of support call and liaising with GTAC to facilitate the effective escalation of urgent problems.
Build demonstration environments for Channel Partners to meet the needs of a customer demonstration, including the identification of relevant hardware, design, development and installation of product environments and appropriate product data, to mimic the customers systems.
Support the delivery of effective demonstrations to a range of Channel Partner customers on the features, functions and business benefits of SISW products and solutions, highlighting the capabilities and usage of the solution to solve sales and customer problems.
Conduct initial phone qualification and research on assigned target accounts to gather intelligence.
Build prospect interest in the products and services offered by Siemens PLM Software through web, social media, e-mail and primarily phone interaction.
Send appropriate follow-up materials (video, whitepapers, literature) and document all activities in the CRM system.
Systematically follow-up all target account activities to develop total qualified opportunities that produce an above average close rate.
Works under moderate supervision, on assignments that are routine in nature and require judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations, receiving little instruction on daily work and general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
Support event execution by collaborating on list development, facilitating attendee registration, and conducting post-even follow-up.
Skills and Abilities Required:
Be the Subject Matter Expert for PLM technical solutions for one solution domain.
Contribute to the plan, definition, adjustment, build & delivery of PreSales Standard improvements/Know How regarding (Sub-Domain Value Argumentation and/or Industry/Process Best Practices.
Act as subject matter expert, guiding others on a single technical domain and Industry Best Practices for Channel Partner support.
Support the organizational culture, values and reputation in company markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory/official bodies.
Ensure that all communication channels within the business are adhered to.
Provide input, where appropriate to team meetings.
Excellent communication skills.
Be confident making presentations and have the ability to work closely and collaborative with team members.
Education and Experience Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial engineering or similar.
More than 2 years of experience in industrial processes.
Knowledge in production planning, scheduling, and material handling.
Knowledge in line balancing and lean manufacturing.
Experience related with KPI development for production lines.
Project management experience.
Previous experience with software and tools for production planning and line simulation.
Basic programming skills (SQL, .NET or Visual Studio).
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
Normal office environment - Hybrid model – Mexico City Office
Often requested to work at times of key project roll out periods.
