We are looking for a Presales Solution Consultant * (permanent contract) based in Milan area, to be part of the *Motion Control business unit reporting directly to the Head of Sales.
What will be your main challenges?
Develop Digital Transformation Business at End Customers, creating new business pipeline through the development of long-term relationships with customers.
Drive sales opportunities, advising customers, leveraging innovation, focusing on value selling of Machine Tool digitalization portfolio, preparing detailed solution, product demonstrations or proof of concepts.
Collect and aggregates key strategic information (competitor product analyses, latest technologies, market development, portfolio gaps, demand and supply conditions, etc.) across the regional sales force, to identify and implement specific go-to-market initiatives.
Available to support the installation and post-sales when needed to ensure the internal transfer of know-how. Act as first level of escalation for business cases and technical issues, being customer’s advocate with colleagues in the region and headquarter.
You will work intensively in the region go to market process supporting product management, leading requirements management, training of sales colleagues and supporting marketing activities.
Knowledge of machine tools systems and digital transition use cases are needed to perform in this position.
What do I bring with me?
·Engineering background, Mechanical Engineering, Computer science or equivalent technical training
·Problem solving attitude, you like to approach complex systems and find solutions or workaround to accomplish customer goals. Skills or experience in one or more of the following: Web Applications, C# programming, Pyton, JS or other scripting, CNC/PLC programming, basics of networking and cybersecurity.
·Experience in software selection, project implementation, manufacturing processes or digital transformation.
·Written and spoken Italian and English (French or Spanish are a plus)
·Customer orientation and persuasiveness (ability to analyze, motivate, learn and communicate technical and organizational needs)
·Strong orientation to reach targets, proactive, autonomous in owned tasks, enabler of collaboration across teams.
·Flexible operational readiness and willingness to travel.
