About the Role

As a Verification Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to grow your career? Siemens EDA (formally Mentor Graphics) are investing in emulation technology which is growing rapidly in Europe. Our most successful multinational customers are using emulation to verify some of the world’s most advanced system on chip designs. Emulation is also expanding to a wider audience of smaller companies who are benefiting from early software development and ultra-fast hardware verification using our cloud-based emulation as a service solution. Our automotive customers and their suppliers are adopting emulation as part of a system wide solution for autonomous driving called PAVE360. We have an opening for a senior consultant, to guide new and existing customers in the use of emulation to solve their verification challenges. As a Europe-wide role, this position offers an existing emulation engineer or application engineer the opportunity to grow their experience working with some of the most exciting companies in the semiconductor industry. A typical day as a senior verification consultant will be very varied, you could be working from home setting up a remote emulation environment for a customer in the Netherlands; or working with a team of consultants and AEs from a Siemens office in France optimising the performance of an existing system. You could be on-site in Italy showing new customers how emulation fits into their existing flow or visiting a customer in Israel who is designing an exciting new autonomous driving solution.

Area of Responsibility

·Helping customers who are new to emulation to include it in their flow

·Mapping customer designs to emulation to show how it’s done

·Architecting test environments for customer designs

·Showing customers how to develop software on an emulated design

·Showing how power analysis can be performed with an emulator

·Working with account teams to identify customers who would benefit from emulation

·Working with emulation division to represent customer needs in new product development

·Giving presentations to customers and conferences to explain the value of emulation

Your Qualifications & Experience

·Degree in Electronics or Computing sciences

·ExperiencedVerification/Emulation experience (Verification Engineer, Application Engineer)

·Strong proficiency in SystemVerilog is required.

·English mandatory other European languages beneficial

·Problem solving, design debugging, lateral thinking are all key skills

·Ability and willingness to travel including rights to work on-site in multiple EU countries
