Linux Device Driver R&D Engineer for Common Interfaces

Job Description

Tessent is looking for a highly motivated, creative, and energetic engineer with excellent hands-on experience of device driver development under Linux for common interfaces like USB, PCIe, and others. You will be working in an international team with fellow software and hardware development engineers, as well as quality assurance, customer support, and product marketing engineers. Together we continuously innovate products that define our markets. You will have the opportunity to responsibly lead projects that add significant new functionality and value to the product, and further improve your personal and professional skills and knowledge.

Required experiences:

• 5+ years of experience as a full stack Linux developer with device driver experience for USB and PCIe

• Good C / C++ programming experience

• A basic understanding of semiconductor design

• A basic understanding of FPGA-based development and prototyping

• Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good oral and written communication skills in English

• Submit your resume written in English

Additional desirable experiences:

• Knowledge of other, common protocols and interfaces

• Knowledge of EDA tools in some of these areas: HDL simulation, logic synthesis, integrated circuit (IC) place and route, timing analysis (SDC), logic equivalence checking, CDC and RCD checking

The salary range for this position is $116,900 to $210,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
